Press release - All the "greats" of the past at the farewell race ...

If the last months of the year are rather calm and relaxing for motorsport fans, the month of December means for ice speedway drivers: Let's go to Sweden to train or to Russia for many. But the organization team in Inzell is also currently saying “full commitment”. It is not only important to prepare everything perfectly for the GP races, but also to set up an additional complete race on Friday, March 13, 2020. At 6:00 pm in the Max Aicher Arena, Günther Bauer tells the ice speedway circus and his fans Servus and Goodbye at the “ServuSchliff” race. Of course, "Schliff" and the organizer came up with something special to say goodbye. Names like Nikolai Krasnikov, Kyril Dragolin, Ivan Ivanov (Russia), Per-Olof Serenius and Erik Stenlund (Sweden), Jarmo Hirvasoja (Finland), Michael Lang (Germany) to name just a few will do Günther Bauer honor and again compete against each other in a race. The drivers listed above alone combine more than 15 individual world championship titles. This race, one can already speak of a kind of legend race, is unique in its kind and will probably remain so. Real ice speedway fans should definitely not miss this race and say goodbye to "finishing touches" in his "living room" during his last race. The subsequent farewell party, in the gym next to the Max Aicher Arena with the live band “Meet & Greet”, offers one last opportunity to toast his sporting success with the best German ice speedway driver of all time.
