Vaclav Milik takes on the FIM Speedway Grand Prix elite in Prague again after being named as Mitas Czech Republic SGP wild card.
The Pardubice-born ace dons the famous No.16 race jacket at Marketa Stadium on June 10 for what will be his fifth SGP appearance.
Milik scored three points in last year’s event, but goes into this season’s round having established himself as a regular in Wroclaw’s Polish Ekstraliga side, as well as a key rider for Indianerna in the Swedish Elitserien.
The 23-year-old, who turns 24 on May 22, starred for his country in last year’s Monster Energy FIM Speedway World Cup Event 1 at Vojens, scoring 12 of their 19 points.
Czech speedway’s brightest prospect is joined in Prague by track reserves Josef Franc and Matej Kus, who line up at No.17 and No.18 respectively. Both men are former Czech Republic SGP wild cards with vast Marketa Stadium experience.
The referee in the Czech capital will be Great Britain’s Craig Ackroyd.
