Three world champions lock horns in heat one as we start the LOTTO Warsaw FIM Speedway Grand Prix of Poland on Saturday.
Defending champion Greg Hancock, Nicki Pedersen and Chris Holder – three men with eight world titles between them – will bid to start the night in style, but they’ll also have to get the better of Polish racer Maciej Janowski.
Heat 13 also looks to be a thriller with double world champion Tai Woffinden facing his 2013 title rival Emil Sayfutdinov, Pedersen and Polish champion Patryk Dudek.
The world’s top two Freddie Lindgren and Martin Vaculik meet in heat 15, where they will have Holder and Sweden’s Antonio Lindback against them.
And the first head-to-head SGP meeting between two brothers since August 21, 2004 takes place in race 16, when wild card Przemyslaw Pawlicki takes to the track in red, with younger sibling Piotr alongside him in blue.
They come up against their good friend and compatriot Janowski and Niels-Kristian Iversen.
Piotr Pawlicki faces a tough opening ride in heat two against Woffinden, Vaculik and Zmarzlik.
Series leader Lindgren launches his night in race three when he meets Sayfutdinov, Zagar and Przemek Pawlicki.
And Dudek gets his LOTTO Warsaw SGP started by taking on Aussie ace Jason Doyle, Iversen and Lindback.
