FIM Speedway Grand Prix title contenders Patryk Dudek, Martin Vaculik & Freddie Lindgren face an early test of their credentials in heat 3.
Dudek heads to Horsens leading the standings on 51 points, with Vaculik third on 44 and Lindgren fourth on 43. So the race could have a big say in who goes into the Monster Energy FIM Speedway World Cup break leading the way. Swedish international Antonio Lindback completes the line-up, hoping to build on a solid semi-final finish at the Mitas Czech SGP in Prague last time out.
With concerns over a foot injury, Aussie icon Jason Doyle – second in the standings on 50 – takes to the shale in heat four, facing double world champion Tai Woffinden, Russia’s Emil Sayfutdinov and wild card Kenneth Bjerre.
Top two Doyle and Dudek meet in race 13, where they also come up against Aussie star Chris Holder and Slovenian ace Matej Zagar.
Heat 11 could also be a huge test for Doyle, as it features reigning world champion Greg Hancock, Vaculik and fifth-placed Maciej Janowski.
The night kicks off with a treble Polish test for Holder, when he comes up against Bartosz Zmarzlik, Piotr Pawlicki and Janowski in race one.
Danish duo Niels-Kristian Iversen and Peter Kildemand clash in heat two, which also features Hancock and Zagar.
