FIM Speedway Grand Prix first reserve Peter Kildemand makes his series return, replacing the injured Nicki Pedersen for the Rietumu Bank Latvian SGP in Daugavpils on Saturday.
The triple world champion has been forced out of the meeting with neck injuries sustained in a Danish Speedway League meeting at Holsted on Wednesday.
Kildemand will don his No.25 race jacket once again as he returns to the World Championship stage after suffering elimination at the end of the 2016 season.
Reacting to his call-up on Twitter, Kildemand posted: “I wish @nickipedersenDK a speedy recovery after his nasty and very unlucky crash yesterday! Daugavpils it is!”
